Muscat: Today, the Sultanate of Oman observes the 11th of December Anniversary, also known as the Sultan's Armed Forces Day.
This significant event honors the historical achievements of the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) and has been celebrated annually since 1975.
The 11th of December is recognized as a pivotal day in Omani military history, symbolizing the nation's commitment to peace and security while marking the beginning of its comprehensive development journey.
In celebration of this occasion, the SAF Corps has organized a series of events that showcase the ongoing modernization across various sectors. These activities highlight the progress and prosperity of Oman, reflecting the considerable support provided to the SAF by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander.
