Muscat: On Monday, the Board of Directors of the "Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Educational Quality Assurance" convened for its fourth annual meeting in 2024. During this gathering, the board deliberated on the Authority's initiative to harmonize the "Programme Accreditation Guide" with the "Institutional Accreditation Guide".
The proceedings were presided over by Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, and the Chairperson of the Authority's Board of Directors.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed proposals for modifications to the School Performance Evaluation System, the establishment of professional qualifications within the National Qualifications Framework, and the Authority's suggestion for external international quality assurance.
