Nizwa: On Monday, a series of investment contracts, valued at over OMR7 million, were executed with a diverse array of companies within the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. These agreements are projected to yield an investment return exceeding OMR2.7 million.
The formal ceremony took place under the esteemed patronage of Eng. Said bin Hamoud Al Ma’awali, the Minister of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology.
The primary objective of these contract signings was to stimulate economic growth and bolster commercial services across the governorates of Al Dakhiliyah. This initiative represents a significant stride towards fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors, attracting investments, creating employment opportunities for Omani nationals, and enhancing the local content.
The contracts were officially executed by Sheikh Hilal Said Al Hajri, the Governor of Al Dakhiliyah.
These agreements encompass a wide range of developments, including the enhancement of the central public transport station within the Wilayat of Nizwa and the leasing of properties along the principal road, internal streets, and public spaces across the governorates of Nizwa, Samayil, Al Hamra, Manah, Adam, Bidbid, Izki, Al Jabal Al Akhdar, and Bahla in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.
Furthermore, the contracts encompass the installation and operation of advertising dashboards, both printed and electronic, for a duration of five years.
