Muscat: On Tuesday, the National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM) convened at the General Command of Police. The session was led by Lt. Gen Hassan Mohsin Al Shraiqi, the Inspector General of Police and Customs, who also serves as the Chairman of the National Emergency Management Committee.
During the meeting, the committee assessed its responsibilities, as well as the mechanisms and procedures for responding to exceptional situations.
Lt. Gen Al Shraiqi commended the collaborative efforts among the relevant authorities and highlighted the high level of public awareness. He expressed gratitude to the committee members and the associated sectors and subcommittees.
