Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said graced the inauguration of the "Raneen Art" event on the evening of Thursday. This event, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth, is scheduled to continue until November 30th. Its objective is to illuminate the historical sites of Muttrah through the mediums of visual and auditory art.
The Wilayat of Muttrah, distinguished by its rich historical heritage, unique architectural marvels, and secluded alleyways, presents an enchanting fusion of antiquity and modernity. This event aims to honor this distinctive essence by rejuvenating historical sites with the infusion of contemporary art.
A multitude of over 25 artists from both Oman and abroad have been invited to participate, displaying their creations at four distinct venues: the corridor adjacent to the Muttrah Police Station, Beit Al Khouri, Beit Al Khunji, and Muttrah Fort.
