Khasab: During a meeting on Monday, the Musandam Governorate Municipal Council addressed a request to grant government land under usufruct rights to construct a commercial and recreational complex, as well as the allocation of future investment areas for food security in the governorate.
During the meeting, chaired by Sayyid Ibrahim Said Al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam and Chairman of the Municipal Council, the council debated a plan to promote investment activities for mountain community inhabitants (beehives) as well as a request to set aside land for the construction of model cattle and poultry farms.
The council also considered plans to begin the addressing project in Khasab and to relocate warehouses from Khasab Port to the Mahas Industrial Area.
Furthermore, the council welcomed a delegation from the Housing and Urban Planning Department to review the residential and commercial master plan for the Daiyr area in the Wilayat of Madha.
