Muscat: On Thursday, the Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) experienced a decline of 9.02 points, representing a decrease of 0.20%, closing at 4564.30 points, down from the previous session's figure of 4573.33 points.
The trading volume reached OMR5,504,875, marking an increase of 182.5% compared to the last session, which recorded OMR1,948,884.
According to the report from MSX, the market value decreased by 0.059%, bringing it to approximately OMR27.51 billion.
Additionally, the report indicated that non-Omani investors purchased shares worth OMR473,000, accounting for 8.59% of the total. Conversely, the value of shares sold by non-Omani investors amounted to OMR4,173,000, representing 75.80%. Consequently, net non-Omani investment dropped by 67.20%, totaling OMR3,699,000.
