"Most Heartbreaking And Traumatic Time": UK Royal Family Expresses Grief Over Air India Plane Crash

London: On Thursday, the UK Royal family expressed condolences to the families of the victims of the Londonbound Air India flight, which crashed in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Condolences flooded in from all over the UK in response to the horrific plane disaster in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on Thursday.

The UK royal family extended sympathies following the terrible accident. In a message, King Charles said, "My wife and I have been desperately shocked by the terrible events in Ahmedabad this morning. " Our special prayers and heartfelt sympathy are with the families and friends of all those affected by this unbelievably horrific event across so many countries as they await news of their loved ones. I would like to express my gratitude to the emergency services and everyone else offering help and support during this incredibly tragic and traumatic time.

Former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak expressed surprise and sadness over the incident. Calling it a tragedy, he offered prayers for the families of those who died.

Akshata and I are utterly horrified and saddened by the news of the Air India disaster. There is a particular tie between our two nations, and our thoughts and prayers are with the British and Indian families who have lost loved ones today, Sunak said on X.

Lindy Cameron, the British High Commissioner to India, expressed sadness at the tragic aircraft crash and provided a consular assistance number for British nationals in need of assistance.

In a post on X, she stated, "I'm deeply saddened by the news of a horrific plane crash in Ahmedabad today. " My thoughts are with the individuals and families of those impacted.

UK Shadow Foreign Secretary Priti Patel offered prayers for the victims of the plane crash. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by the Ahmedabad plane accident and with the emergency services on the scene. This will be a stressful time for the families of those on board. As more information becomes available, the Government must ensure that it collaborates with Indian authorities to assist British families impacted.

In another post on X, she revealed that Members of Parliament from the House of Commons offered condolences to the families of the plane disaster.

She wrote, "MPs in the @HouseofCommons today expressed our sympathies for those affected by the awful plane crash in Ahmedabad. " Our thoughts and prayers are with all those impacted.

UK MP Bob Blackman also expressed sadness. In a message on X, he said, "My thoughts are with the families and loved ones following the terrible news of a passenger plane crash in Ahmedabad. "
