Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion has issued a formal caution regarding the unauthorized utilization of national symbols and emblems on commercial goods, emphasizing the imperative of possessing a legitimate license.
In a recent press release, the Ministry underscored that certain e-commerce entities, operating via internet platforms and social media channels, have been marketing products adorned with national emblems without the requisite permissions, especially in the context of the 54th National Holiday festivities drawing near.
The Ministry has reiterated the critical necessity of obtaining the necessary authorization for the use of sanctioned national symbols. Furthermore, it has reminded enterprises to prominently display their e-commerce license numbers across their online platforms.
Moreover, the Ministry has called for adherence to all requirements outlined in the e-commerce regulatory framework to guarantee compliance and lawful activities within the digital marketplace.
