Muscat: On Wednesday, the Ministry of Labour signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) with the Security and Safety Services Corporation for OMR 1,207,300 to offer employment-linked training for 923 Omani job seekers.
The MoC was signed by Sayyid Salim Musallam Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour for Human Resources Development, and Said Sulaiman Al Asmi, CEO of Security and Safety Services Corporation.
The MoC searches for appropriate job openings for jobseekers, identifies essential competencies, monitors trainee performance, ensures their commitment to quality standards, and assesses the extent to which they gain knowledge from the training program.
The MoC requires the submission of periodic reports to assess project success, identify shared obstacles, and suggest development plans. It trains Omani job seekers in fisheries-related security, safety, and control, providing them with the abilities needed to fulfill their work responsibilities.
