Ramallah: On Sunday, President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine bestowed the Medal of Merit and Distinction upon Salim Habib Al Omairi, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Palestine.
This honor was presented during a farewell ceremony at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah, following the President's reception of the Chargé d’Affaires.
Al Omairi received the medal for his distinguished contributions in fostering bilateral relations and cooperation between the two nations. Additionally, it was a recognition of his efforts in supporting the Palestinian populace in their pursuit of freedom and independence.
