Muscat: Over 400 experts from 30 nations and 106 global organizations are participating in the 10th Middle East Artificial Lift Forum (MEALF), taking place in Muscat from January 20 to 22, 2025.
This event focuses on the application of artificial lift methods to enhance oil-well productivity, alongside the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in data analysis to boost operational efficiency.
The opening ceremony was conducted under the patronage of Mohsin Hamad Al Hadhrami, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals.
Al Hadhrami emphasized that the forum serves as a technical platform for international experts and specialists to share the latest advancements in artificial lift technology, which is essential for improving oilfield production efficiency and sustainability.
The forum will feature discussions on over 50 working papers addressing critical operations, such as monitoring greenhouse gas emissions, enhancing the sustainability of artificial lift systems, and investigating the impact of modern technology on production efficiency and the development of mature oil and gas fields.
The event is designed for all individuals involved in the oil and gas industry, including both professionals and novices, as well as students from Omani colleges, with the primary goal of fostering local talent.
Additionally, an exhibition will be held alongside the forum to display products from leading international companies and showcase the latest innovations and technical solutions aimed at advancing the oil and gas sector.
