Nizwa: A two-day conference on drafting legislation to improve governance begins today in the Wilayat of Nizwa.
The conference is organized by the Ministry of Labour in collaboration with the media firm "Media Thought".
The meeting is intended to promote collaboration between legal departments and public policy experts.
The conference will go over techniques for drafting legislation quickly and effectively. It examines the notion of administration in law in the context of digital transformation, as well as international experiences in legislative development.
The conference draws specialists and experts from Oman and other countries. The participants are from legislative, regulatory, and audit agencies, as well as judicial and banking institutions, members of legislative and executive councils, academics, and researchers in law and public policy.
Aside from establishing an integrated regulatory framework that keeps up with worldwide economic and technological advances, the conference will help to create a fair and encouraging business climate that promotes national economic competitiveness.
