Muscat: The Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, His Majesty, has extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the President of the Republic of India, in response to the devastating impact of floods and landslides affecting the state of Kerala, located in the southern region of India.
A formal statement was released by the Oman News Agency (ONA) regarding this matter, which reads: "His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik conveys his deepest condolences and sympathies to Her Excellency President Droupadi Murmu, the President of the Republic of India, on behalf of the Sultanate, to the victims of the floods and landslides that have struck the state of Kerala, southern India."
