Muscat: In May 2024, Indian School Wadi Kabir (ISWK) and the Business and Entrepreneurship Club achieved a significant milestone. The B&E Club appointed its 21 officials for the 2024-25 term, presenting them with badges of office and job profiles. The newly elected club officers assumed positions such as President, Vice-Presidents, Senior Managers, and Junior Managers for various departments including Operations, Accounting & Finance, Marketing & Design, and PR & Editorial.
The event was graced by the presence of Kiran Asher, the founder and group managing director of the Al Ansari Group of Companies, who attended as the Chief Guest. Several other dignitaries from the School Management Committee also attended, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.
During the event, the Club also unveiled the inaugural edition of 'Business Communique', the first high-school business magazine in the Sultanate of Oman. The magazine features captivating articles, quizzes, comic strips, and engaging toons on financial literacy, all designed by the students, for the students.
The B&E Club upholds its motto, "Profit with care is the aim, business is the game."
Additionally, the Club organized a special segment dedicated to the unsung heroes of every organization - the support staff. This segment included a fun-filled red-carpet entry, engaging games, and energetic dances, serving as the Club's heartfelt appreciation for the individuals who go above and beyond to ensure the smooth functioning of the schools.
With a promising group of students and the guidance of AVP Commerce H.S. Bagga, the right mentor, the nation's fastest-growing club has commenced the new academic year with an electrifying start, igniting excitement among its followers and setting the stage for unprecedented achievements.
