Innovation, Entrepreneurship Centre Opens At MCBS

The Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) inaugurated a Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship on Thursday. The ceremony was graced by Dr. Rahma Ibrahim al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation.

During the event, Dr. Salah Soumar Al Zadjali, Director-General of Programmes and Capacity Building at the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, emphasized the ministry's support for higher education institutions in establishing innovation centers. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in fostering business incubators and services that contribute to technological advancement, startup creation, and economic growth.

Dr. Moosa Abdullah Al Kindi, Dean of MCBS, shared the college's ongoing efforts to enhance the new Center and expand its services for the benefit of MCBS students and the wider community.

Following the speeches, Dr. Rahma toured the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, receiving a detailed overview of its various units.
