Indian School Students Excel In CBSE Board Exams

The CBSE results for Indian Schools in Oman in 2024 have broken all previous records, showcasing a higher percentage of high achievers. This achievement highlights the commitment to academic excellence among students in the region.

Dr. Sivakumar Manickam, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Indian Schools Oman, commended the students for their exceptional performance, making both their school and parents proud. He also praised the Principals for implementing innovative strategies to enhance results and the School Managements for striving to raise the bar for success in Board Exams.

Dr. Sivakumar Manickam emphasized the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders in education, including teachers and parents, in creating a positive learning environment that enabled students to excel. He congratulated both students and schools for their remarkable achievements.

In the Science stream, the top positions in Oman were secured by Yadu Krishna Balakrishnan of Indian School Darsait (99%), Sadiya Khatoon of Indian School Salalah, and Aman Saji of Indian School Sohar (98%). Nityant Kaarthik Rao of Indian School Muscat and Ojas Pandey of Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir shared the third position with 97.8% marks.

For the Commerce Stream, Gunjan Karwani of Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir (98.6%), Jamiehitesh Ramaiya of Indian School Sohar (97.4%), and Devika Balakrishnan of Indian School Al Ghubra (96.6%) secured the first, second, and third positions respectively.

The Humanities stream at Indian Schools has seen exceptional performances, with the top three positions secured by outstanding students. Kiara Denise Frank from Indian School Al Ghubra leads with 98.6%, followed by Bhumika Gulani and Hansi Thakur from Indian School Muscat at 98%, and Rithika Chandramohan from Indian School Al Ghubra at 97.8%. 

The Indian Schools prioritize inclusivity in admissions, welcoming all students regardless of academic background. Alongside regular classes, the schools offer various support programs like Remedial Classes, Virtual Learning Environment, and common pre-board exams to ensure the overall well-being of students.
