Honourable Lady Visits Jawharat Muscat School

MUSCAT: On Thursday, Her Highness The Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed al Busaidi, the esteemed spouse of the Sultan of Oman, graced the Jawharat Muscat Basic Education School for Girls in the Wilayat of Al Seeb with her presence. The visit was conducted to provide an update on the institution's endeavors and to engage with the teaching staff and students.

This visit took place in the backdrop of festivities commemorating Omani Women's Day (17 October).

Upon her arrival, Her Highness was warmly welcomed by Dr. Madeeha bint Ahmed al Shaibaniyah, the Minister of Education, and Sayyidah Sana bint Hamad al Busaidiyah, the Adviser to the Minister of Education.

She was then briefed on the school's educational accomplishments, its role as a cultural landmark, and its mission to foster awareness. Following the briefing, she embarked on a tour of the school's various departments, observing and evaluating the programs and activities designed to enhance the students' cognitive abilities.

Her Highness also explored the educational exhibition wing, which featured research and artistic projects by students, as well as models of programs developed by the teaching and administrative staff. During this exploration, she was captivated by visual presentations on artificial intelligence (AI) and digital initiatives.

The visit culminated in a classroom session and a visit to the science lab. Subsequently, Her Highness engaged in discussions with a group of female educators, teachers, and students from diverse schools within the Muscat Governorate.

Throughout the meeting, she listened attentively to the initiatives and achievements of the participants in the fields of education, academic development, cognitive skills, and community cultural awareness.

As a mark of this significant visit, Her Highness signed the school's Visitors Book at the conclusion of her visit.
