Algiers: On Tuesday, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria welcomed Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority (OIA), at the presidential office in the capital city.
This meeting took place during an official visit by a delegation from Oman, aimed at exploring opportunities for economic and investment collaboration between the two nations.
During their discussions, the OIA Chairman extended the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, wishing the Algerian President continued health and happiness, as well as progress and prosperity for the Algerian people.
In response, President Tebboune requested that the OIA Chairman convey his warm regards and wishes for ongoing health and well-being to His Majesty the Sultan, along with hopes for further advancement for the Omani people.
The meeting highlighted the current areas of cooperation and acknowledged the efforts to strengthen these ties, emphasizing the commitment of both countries' leaderships to expand collaboration across various sectors.
The Omani delegation included Dr. Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, and several CEOs from companies associated with the Oman Investment Authority (OIA).
