According to the Oman News Agency (ONA), His Majesty the Sultan received a phone call from His Excellency the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, during which they addressed the worrying escalation in the region and stressed the importance of all parties committing to self-restraint, prioritizing wisdom and dialogue, and working diligently to stop the cycle of military escalation, thus sparing the region of additional tension and paving the way for diplomatic solutions.
The Iranian President, His Excellency, expressed his profound gratitude for the Sultanate of Oman's position and balanced role in promoting regional security and creating chances for peace, underlining his country's dedication to cooperation in order to prevent further escalation in the region.
