HM The Sultan Issues Four Royal Decrees

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has today issued four Royal decrees, which are detailed as follows:

Royal decree No. (63/2024) pertains to the ratification of the air services agreement between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and the government of the Republic of Chile, which was signed in Kuala Lumpur on 24 October 2024.

Article (1) confirms the ratification of the aforementioned agreement as per the version attached to this decree.

Article (2) states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and will take effect from the date of its issuance.

Royal decree No. (64/2024) concerns the ratification of an agreement between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and the government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg aimed at eliminating double taxation on income and capital tax, as well as preventing and avoiding tax evasion. This agreement was signed in Luxembourg City on 16 October 2024.

Article (1) ratifies the aforementioned agreement in accordance with the version attached to this decree.

Article (2) indicates that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into effect from the date of its issuance.

Royal decree No. (65/2024) addresses the ratification of the air transport agreement between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and the government of the Republic of Chad, signed in Kuala Lumpur on 24 October 2024.

Article (1) ratifies the aforementioned agreement as per the version attached to this decree.

Article (2) specifies that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and will take effect from the date of its issuance.

Royal decree No. (66/2024) relates to the ratification of the air transport agreement between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and the government of Australia, signed in Kuala Lumpur on 24 October 2024.

Article (1) confirms the previously mentioned agreement as per the version included with this decree.

Article (2) states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and will take effect from the date of its issuance.
