Muscat: In celebration of Eid Al-Adha 1445 AH, His Majesty the Sultan has granted a unique royal pardon to numerous prison inmates.
According to an announcement by the Royal Oman Police, "His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has extended his special royal pardon to a group of prison inmates who were convicted of various violations."
A total of 169 individuals, including both citizens and foreigners, have been granted this royal pardon, highlighting the inclusive nature of this compassionate act. This gesture of mercy, bestowed by His Majesty the Supreme Commander, aligns with the occasion of Eid Al-Adha 1445 AH and serves as a heartfelt consideration for the families of the inmates.
