His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued Royal decree No. (21/2024) regarding the Biosignatures Law, which was presented before the Council of Oman on Tuesday.
According to Article (1), the provisions of the Biosignatures Law attached to this decree will be implemented.
Article (2) stipulates that the Inspector General of Police and Customs will be responsible for issuing the executive regulations of the attached Law.
Article (3) nullifies any legislation that contradicts the attached Law or goes against its provisions.
Lastly, Article (4) states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into effect the day after its publication date.
