Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has awarded the Excellent Service and Royal Commendation Medals to several military and civilian personnel.
According to a statement from the Oman News Agency (ONA), "His Majesty the Sultan, the Supreme Commander, granted the Excellent Service and Royal Commendation Medals to a selection of senior officers, officers, and non-commissioned officers from both the military and civilian sectors of the Sultan's Armed Forces, as well as other divisions of the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Guard of Oman, in recognition of their commitment and loyalty in serving the nation and fulfilling their esteemed national responsibilities."
"The medals were presented by His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs at Al Murtafa'a Camp," the statement further noted.
