Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmood Al Said, the Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, graciously received Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, at the Council of Ministers headquarters in Muscat today.
HH Sayyid Fahd extended his warmest welcome to the visiting Prime Minister and his delegation, expressing his hopes for the continued growth of relations between Oman and Belarus. The meeting underscored a mutual desire to broaden the scope of cooperation across various sectors.
The discussions encompassed a range of issues of mutual concern, focusing on efforts to bolster security, stability, development, and prosperity for all nations involved.
The dialogue explored avenues for enhancing cooperation in diverse fields, including the economy, trade, industry, education, higher education, research, innovation, and renewable energy.
Furthermore, the delegations reviewed strategies for exchanging expertise and strengthening the role of business councils in both countries, with a particular emphasis on the private sector's contribution to joint investments across different sectors. The meeting also addressed regional and international matters and reviewed initiatives aimed at establishing security and stability for the benefit of all nations.
HH Sayyid Fahd commended the Republic of Belarus for its significant contributions to international peace and security.
At the same time, Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko conveyed his country's satisfaction with the deepening relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Sultanate of Oman. He expressed his nation's eagerness to further develop ties in a manner that aligns with the common interests of the two friendly peoples.
The meeting was graced by the presence of Omani ministers and government officials, along with members of the official delegation accompanying Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko during his visit to Oman.
Subsequently, HH Sayyid Fahd hosted an official luncheon in honor of Prime Minister Roman Gulovchenko and his delegation at the Al Bustan Palace Hotel.
The luncheon was attended by Omani ministers, state officials, and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.
