Muscat: A collective of foreign nationals has been apprehended for contravening the labor and residency regulations applicable to foreigners within the Wilayat of Suwaiq, located in the North Al Batinah Governorate.
An official declaration published on the internet by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has reported: "The North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command has taken custody of a group comprising individuals of African and Asian nationalities in the Wilayat of Suwaiq, for their alleged violation of the labor and residency laws for foreigners. Legal proceedings are currently underway against them."
