General Education Diploma Results Will Be Released On Thursday.

Muscat: On Thursday, July 17, 2025, the Ministry of Education will release the results of the General Education Diploma and similar tests for the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.

Her Excellency Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibani, Minister of Education, has authorized the general indicators for the results of the General Education Diploma and equivalent exams for the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.

The General Education Diploma had 54,856 applications, with a success rate of 82.83 percent. The General Education Diploma for private institutions (bilingual) had 1,579 applications, with a success rate of 91.58%. The General Education and Islamic Studies Diploma attracted 121 students, with a success rate of 100%.

The General Education Diploma (Special Education) received 61 applications, with a success rate of 86.89 percent. The General Vocational and Technical Education Diploma received 138 applications, indicating a success rate of 100%.

Her Excellency Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibani, the Minister of Education, congratulated her sons and daughters, the students, on their achievement and thanked their parents for their efforts in helping their children realize their goals.

The findings will be accessible starting at 4:00 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, through SMS service provided by telecommunications providers by sending a text message including the seat number to the number (90200).

The Ministry has taken all required steps to guarantee that the exams are administered in accordance with examination management rules and in a peaceful and comfortable learning environment. This year, applicants took their tests at (366) test centers located throughout the Sultanate of Oman.

(16) Violations of the rules regulating the administration of General Education Diploma examinations and equivalents were discovered, and the essential actions were taken in accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. (588/2015). In light of these violations, the Ministry reviewed all surrounding circumstances to verify and confirm each instance before imposing appropriate penalties in collaboration with the relevant authorities.
