Muscat: The national drill named "Full Scale Shield 2024" has commenced at Muscat International Airport.
This exercise involves collaboration among military and security agencies, units of the State’s Administrative Apparatus, and companies within the civil aviation sector.
The primary objective of the exercise is to improve coordination and integration among all stakeholders to effectively address security challenges and meet air safety standards at Muscat International Airport. Additionally, it aims to assess the readiness and response capabilities in accordance with international civil aviation obligations.
Comprehensive preparations have been implemented to ensure that airport operations, aircraft movements, and passenger services continue uninterrupted throughout the duration of the exercise.
