Paris: The French government has awarded Commodore Adil Hamoud Al Busaidi, Director of the Maritime Security Centre, the "Order of Maritime Merit" in appreciation of his efforts to promote bilateral collaboration in maritime security between Oman and France.
Commodore Al Busaidi was awarded the medal by Rear Admiral Hugues Laine, Commander of the French troops stationed in the Indian Ocean. The ceremony was conducted at the Maritime Security Centre headquarters.
