Muscat: On Sunday, Sheikh Mohammed Maktoum Al Maktoum, Ambassador-designate of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Sultanate of Oman, presented a copy of his credentials to Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Sultanate's Foreign Minister.
Sayyid Badr wished the ambassador success in his duties, as well as continued development and expansion of bilateral relations.
Najeeb Yahya Al Balushi, the Foreign Ministry's Protocol Department director, and other officials attended the meeting.
Meanwhile, Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, received a copy of credentials from Ibrahima Seck, the Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Senegal to the Sultanate of Oman.
Sayyid Badr expressed his hopes for the ambassador's success in carrying out his responsibilities, as well as for further progress and expansion in bilateral ties.
The meeting was attended by Saleh Mohammed Al Saqri, Director of the Africa Department, Najeeb Yahya Al Balushi, Director of the Protocols Department, and a number of other Foreign Ministry officials.
