Riyadh: The esteemed Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, has arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to lead the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman at the forthcoming Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit, scheduled for later today in Riyadh.
Upon his arrival at King Khalid International Airport, Sayyid Badr was greeted warmly by Prince Mohammed Abdulrahman Abdulaziz, the Deputy Governor of Riyadh, along with several other Saudi officials.
Accompanied by a distinguished delegation, Sayyid Badr includes HH Sayyid Faisal Turki Al Said, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Sultanate of Oman’s permanent representative to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Abdullah Nasser Al Rahbi, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Oman’s permanent representative to the Arab League, Sheikh Faisal Omar Al Marhoon, the Head of the Arab Department at the Foreign Ministry, and several other officials.
The summit is poised to address the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestine and Lebanon, as well as its consequential impact on the region.
