The primary committee tasked with verifying the sighting of the Dhu al-Hijjah crescent for the year 1445 AH will convene tonight at the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs. The committee will urge both citizens and residents to participate in the crescent sighting process.
If the Dhu al-Hijjah moon sighting is validated today, Eid Al Adha will fall on Sunday, June 16, 2024. However, if the crescent sighting is inconclusive, Eid Al Adha will be observed on Monday, June 17, 2024.
