‘Experience South Al Batinah’ Forum 2025 Announced

Muscat: The "Experience South Al Batinah" Forum for 2025 is scheduled to occur from January 8 to 31 in Khabat Al Qadan, located in the Wilayat of Nakhal. This forum aims to enhance tourism and cultural awareness in the governorate by presenting a variety of events intended to draw both local and international visitors. The primary objective is to position South Al Batinah as a top-tier tourist destination.

Key Highlights:

Sporting Activities: Events will include modified car races on sandy terrains, sand biking, equestrian and camel competitions, paragliding, and traditional shooting contests in the Wilayat of Al Awabi, along with marine competitions in the Wilayat of Al Musannah.

Entertainment Offerings: Attendees can enjoy beach games, a heritage village that reflects traditional lifestyles, daily theatrical performances (featuring concerts, circus acts, and magic shows), a promotional exhibition highlighting the governorate's accomplishments, electronic gaming experiences, virtual reality setups, laser displays, and exhibitions of modified cars.

Heritage and Development Emphasis: The forum is crafted not only for entertainment but also as a comprehensive platform to rejuvenate heritage, bolster local industries, and advocate for tourism as a catalyst for sustainable development.

Launch of New Mobile Application: Alongside the forum, a new mobile application named "Mujab" will be introduced. This app will facilitate access to the governorate's electronic services and provide updates regarding the "Experience South Al Batinah" events.

His Excellency Eng. Masoud bin Saeed Al Hashimi, Governor of South Al Batinah, highlighted that the forum serves as a significant opportunity to enhance the governorate's status as a prominent tourist and cultural hub in Oman, showcasing its natural, cultural, and economic resources.
