Muscat: On Thursday, the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs announced the initiation of the "Year of the Employee 2025" during its annual meeting.
The meeting, presided over by Labour Minister Dr. Mahad Said Ba’owain, evaluated the results of the "Year of the Mosque" initiative.
Dr. Mohammed Said Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, was also present at the meeting.
In his address, Al Maamari highlighted the crucial role employees play in enhancing the Ministry's performance and in realizing its strategic goals and aspirations.
He noted that this year, the Ministry aims to strengthen the work environment to foster innovation and improve employee skills.
Additionally, Dr. Khalil Hamad Al Busaidi, Legal Adviser at the Ministry, spoke about the objectives and achievements accomplished in recent years.
Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Kaabi, Director General of Endowments, Funds, Mosque Construction, and Quran Schools, provided a visual presentation detailing the results of the mosques sector and its future initiatives.
He announced that the Ministry will introduce 19 new electronic services related to mosques, prayer halls, and Quran schools as part of this effort.
