Muscat: The Oman Human Rights Commission has underscored its endeavors in enhancing awareness regarding human rights issues, alongside its responsibilities in compiling diverse reports and addressing complaints.
This was the backdrop for a discussion during which Dr. Rashid Hamad Al Balushi, the Chairman of the Oman Human Rights Commission, engaged with Counsellor Jaber Saleh Al Marri, the Chairman of the Arab Charter Committee on Human Rights, and his delegation.
The visit by the guest to Oman is in anticipation of the forthcoming discussion session on Oman's inaugural report before the Arab Charter Committee on Human Rights. This session is scheduled for the middle of December 2024.
