Muscat: The Ministry of Education has announced a new ministerial decision (No. 82/2025) that alters the annual evaluation schedule for both government and private schools that follow the government evaluation framework for the 2024/2025 academic year. These changes aim to better accommodate public needs and improve assessment processes.
According to the decision, the evaluation period for the second term, along with any re-tests for students in Grades 1 to 12, will now commence on June 1, 2025, and end on July 10, 2025. This updated timeline is applicable to government schools, private institutions adhering to the government evaluation system, general diploma candidates, and adult education diploma students for the second semester.
This ministerial decision overrides any previous conflicting regulations and requires all relevant entities to effectively implement the new schedule.
