Muscat: A contract was finalized today with Marsun Public Company of Thailand for the acquisition of multiple vessels.
This initiative reflects the commitment of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander.
It aligns with the development and modernization objectives of the Ministry of Defence and the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), aiming to strengthen the capabilities of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO).
The agreement was executed by Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Za’abi, Secretary General at the Ministry of Defence, and Patrawin Chongvisal, CEO of Marsun Public Company.
The signing ceremony was graced by Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the RNO, along with several senior officials from the Ministry of Defence.
The acquisition of these vessels is intended to enhance the operational performance and capabilities of the RNO, contributing to the overall development of the Sultanate of Oman during the prosperous reign of His Majesty the Sultan, the Supreme Commander.
