Muscat: Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), was honored with a visit to his office at Al Murtafa’a Garrison on Monday. The distinguished guest was Rear Admiral Rüştü Sezer, the Commander of Combined Task Force (CTF) 151, accompanied by his military delegation.
The purpose of the visit was to engage in discussions on various military matters of mutual interest.
The presence of Hamed Abdullah Al Balushi, the SAF Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning, underscored the significance of the meeting.
In a parallel event, Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, the Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), extended his office at Al Murtafa’a Garrison to Rear Admiral Rüştü Sezer and his military delegation.
The subsequent meeting saw a fruitful exchange of perspectives on a broad spectrum of naval issues of shared concern.
Moreover, Rear Admiral Rüştü Sezer and his delegation had the opportunity to visit the Maritime Security Centre (MSC) today.
Upon their arrival, the visiting delegation was warmly welcomed by the Acting Head of the MSC.
The guests received an informative briefing on the tactical roles and responsibilities undertaken by the centre in ensuring the safety of the Omani maritime domain. They were also given a tour of the centre’s facilities and had the chance to observe its state-of-the-art equipment and technologies employed in the execution of its national duties.
