Conference Explores The Role Of Emerging Technologies In Higher Education

Muscat hosted the second edition of an international conference titled "Emerging Technologies in Multidisciplinary Fields" on Tuesday.

The conference examines the impact of new technology in advancing higher education and shaping the future of universities in the context of a digital transition.

The opening ceremony of the two-day conference was conducted under the leadership of His Highness Sayyid Nadir bin Al Julanda bin Majid Al Said, Secretary General of the Royal Court's Diwan.

The conference is attended by 35 local and international experts who discuss concerns connected to emerging technology in education and the latest trends in modern technology applications.

The conference has five sessions. The first session will focus on the future of digital applications, artificial intelligence (AI), financial innovation, and aspirations for Omani higher education institutions.

The second session focuses on the digital transition in education and human-based AI solutions.

The third session focuses on innovative learning solutions, particularly those involving AI, the Internet of Things, and virtual worlds.

The fourth session focuses on technology, ethics, and innovation in the digital age.

The fifth session will look at the function of artificial intelligence in linguistic and educational stories, which range from classrooms to gaming consoles.

In addition, the conference will include a summary of AI uses in business, security, and storytelling.

As part of the conference, there will be three virtual sessions. They will be titled as follows: "Strategic Transformation from Green Competencies to Smart Decision Making"; "Artificial Intelligence, Industry 4. 0, and Advanced Intelligence Systems for Resilience, Security, and Interoperability"; and "Digital Transition and Human-based Innovation in Health, Justice, and Markets. "

On the sidelines of the conference, a student exhibition is taking place.

The exhibition features focused projects and emphasizes student inventions and practical applications of new technology in a variety of areas, including humanities, information technology, business administration, economics, and English language studies.
