Civil Aviation Sector Coordinating Committee Holds First Meeting Of 2024

Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) hosted the first meeting of the coordinating committee responsible for regulating the civil aviation sector in 2024. Representatives from various institutions within the civil aviation sector attended the meeting, which aimed to further enhance the development of Oman's civil aviation industry.

During the meeting, the committee explored innovative approaches to promote better coordination between regulatory and operational aspects of the civil aviation sector. They also discussed practical measures to align with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, while adhering to the civil aviation law and international obligations of the country. Additionally, participants exchanged ideas on modern strategies to optimize the utilization of human and financial resources.

Formed under Administrative Decision No. 1249/2022 and Administrative Decision No. 303/2024, the committee is led by the Civil Aviation Authority and includes representatives from all civil aviation sector establishments in Oman.
