Muscat: The Central Blood Bank located in Baushar will be temporarily closed on Monday, December 23, 2024, for essential maintenance and expansion activities.
The Department of Blood Bank Services (DBBS) announced, "To carry out necessary maintenance and expansion of our facilities, we wish to inform the public that the Central Blood Bank in Bousher will not be open to donors on Monday, December 23, 2024. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, December 24, 2024."
"We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause. However, we are dedicated to fulfilling the blood supply needs of hospitals using our current stock. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation," the statement concluded.
