Muscat: An official reception took place at Al Alam Palace to honor President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus during his visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik warmly welcomed President Lukashenko upon his arrival and conveyed his greetings to the accompanying Belarusian delegation. In response, President Lukashenko engaged with senior Omani officials who had assembled to greet him.
Subsequently, His Majesty guided the visiting President to the podium of honor, where the national anthem of Belarus was performed. The ceremony featured a 21-gun salute to commemorate the President’s visit.
Prior to this, an honor guard was positioned along the pathway to Al Alam Palace, enhancing the significance of the reception. Upon reaching the palace courtyard, His Majesty expressed his delight in hosting President Lukashenko and conveyed wishes for a successful visit that would bolster cooperation and partnership between the two countries.
