Bausher Govt Schools Report Increase In Expat Students

Muscat: The inaugural meeting of the Parents' Council in Bausher, scheduled for the 2024/2025 academic year, commenced on Tuesday. Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, the Wali of Bausher and the Chairman of the Parents' Council, presided over the proceedings.

The proceedings began with a review of the recommendations from the previous meeting, followed by a discussion on the implementation of these recommendations and the selection of topics for the agenda of this year.

The agenda also included a discussion on the council's plans and the various committees' initiatives for the current academic year, emphasizing the collaborative effort required to achieve the set objectives.

During the meeting, the preparations for a ceremony to honor outstanding students were underway, with discussions focusing on the organizational and logistical aspects necessary for the success of the ceremony, which is intended to motivate students to maintain their academic excellence.

Additionally, the significant rise in the number of expatriate students enrolling in government schools in Bausher was noted, along with its implications for both the educational and administrative support systems.

The Council acknowledged the importance of addressing this issue, committing to follow up on ensuring that all students receive the educational services they are entitled to.
