Muscat: In light of the heightened security concerns prevailing in the Republic of Bangladesh, catalyzed by ongoing anti-quota protest activities, the Foreign Ministry of Oman has issued a statement urging Omani nationals to exercise caution and refrain from visiting the country at this time.
"Given the prevailing security conditions within the Republic of Bangladesh, the Omani Foreign Ministry wishes to alert the distinguished Omani citizens to the current appropriateness of their visitations during this period," the Ministry articulated in its statement.
"It is recommended that citizens present in Bangladeshi territories seek immediate assistance from the Omani embassy in Dhaka by dialing the following contact numbers: +880 18 1124 1175, +880 16 0118 8566," the statement further elaborated.
