Muscat: Following the directive of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, welcomed Mehmet Simsek, Minister of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Turkiye, in his office today.
The discussion encompassed various topics of shared interest that had been previously addressed during His Majesty's visit to Turkiye. Additionally, the meeting reviewed the latest political and economic developments in the regional and Arab contexts.
Attendees included Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Sheikh Khalifa Hamad Al Badi, Secretary General at the office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad, Saif Ahmed Al Sawafi, Advisor at the office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad, and Mehmet Hakimoğlu, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to the Sultanate of Oman.
