The Oman Meteorology Office has announced that the Al Hajar Mountains and surrounding areas could expect scattered rainfall and occasional thunderstorms accompanied by strong downdraft winds (15-30 knots), potentially causing loose objects to become airborne.
The weather forecast indicates that the central and eastern regions of the Al Hajar Mountains are expected to receive rainfall of different strengths, possibly resulting in wadis overflowing.
In the meantime, the Meteorological Office had previously noted isolated showers in different parts of the Dhofar Governorate.
