The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in Al Buraimi Governorate, represented by the Directorate General of Agriculture and Water Resources, has recently entered into 24 agreements for the restoration of aflaj in the wilayats of Buraimi and Mahdha. The total value of these agreements exceeded RO 500,000.
Eng. Nasser Ali Al Marshoodi, the Director General of Agriculture and Water Resources in Al Buraimi Governorate, emphasized that the signing of these agreements demonstrates the Ministry's commitment to preserving the aflaj and maintaining natural water resources.
The agreements were signed by Al Marshoodi and representatives of the companies responsible for the projects, in the presence of Sheikh Rashid Said Al Kalbani, the Wali of Al Buraimi.
