Al Mudhaibi: On Wednesday, the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology opened 20 kilometers of AlAflaj Road in Al Mudhaibi, North A'Sharqiyah Governorate. The road goes from the SinawAlMudhaibi junction to AlAflaj town.
The project included the design and building of a single carriageway with two lanes, each 3. 5 meters wide, and asphalt shoulders measuring 1. 5 meters in width. Additionally, box culverts were built over small wadis and major drainage channels. The route has all required safety facilities, including road markings, directional signs, metal barriers, and reflective road studs.
The remaining sections of the road are projected to be finished in the following months. When completely open, the route will boost commerce between Sinaw and Al Mudhaibi.
