The Sultanate of Oman, through the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, is set to hold the third edition of the “World Travel Week - Middle East” event at the Al Bustan Palace Hotel starting this Sunday for a duration of four days.
Approximately 31 Omani tourism establishments and 94 tourism experts from different countries worldwide will be participating in this event.
This initiative is part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to boost the tourism sector in Oman by facilitating networking opportunities for tourism companies and professionals from around the globe to collaborate and share experiences.
The event will include organized familiarization trips for major international tourism companies to explore the attractions and experiences in various regions of Oman, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the country. This will ultimately contribute to promoting Oman, with 14 tourism companies selected to conduct trips in the Dhofar Governorate.
Haitham bin Muhammad al Ghassan, the Director General of Tourism Promotion at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, emphasized the significant value that this event brings to luxury tourism companies, highlighting its positive impact on businesses and companies.
Furthermore, the hosting of this event will further enhance international cooperation in luxury tourism, fostering knowledge exchange and solidifying Oman's position as a premier luxury tourist destination globally. The event is expected to attract a diverse range of experts and specialists in luxury tourism from various countries worldwide.
