Revenue Of 3-5 Star Hotels In Oman Exceeds OMR109 Million

Muscat: According to data published by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), revenue from 35-star hotels in the Sultanate of Oman climbed 17. 3% by the end of April 2025, totaling OMR109,213,000, up from OMR93,094,000 during the same period in 2024.

According to the statistics, this expansion is due to an 8. 6% increase in the total number of hotel visitors, with 831,751 guests recorded by the end of April 2025, up from 766,153 in the same period in 2024.

Furthermore, the occupancy rate increased from 53. 4% at the end of April 2024 to 61. 1% at the end of April 2025, indicating a 14. 4% increase.

The number of visitors from Oceania increased by 57. 8% to 18,124, while African guests rose by 57. 6% to 5,993.

European visitors increased by 19. 9%, totaling 314,535 people.

Meanwhile, visitors from the Americas rose by 19. 1% to 28,843, while GCC nationals increased by 12. 6% to 53,642. Asian countries saw a 5. 4% gain, with 114,426 visitors.

In contrast, the statistics showed a 0. 7% fall in Omani tourists, totaling 238,895 by the end of April 2025. Furthermore, visitors of other Arab countries fell by 2. 3%, totaling 32,072 individuals.
